Thanks Walt for adding this post. Lloyd was killed in a traffic accident on his way to school. He sat next to me in class, and I remember the teacher asking one day where he was. No one knew. I believe it was Father Farrell who came into class to inform us of the bad news. As I recall, the entire junior-year class was bussed to his funeral.
