On February 18, 2015 our classmate, Daniel Joseph Stedman, entered into the  kingdom of God and had funeral services held for him in Minden, Louisiana on February 21, 2015. Danny had for several years battled cancer and was unable to attend our 50th Anniversary Reunion because of that affliction. After Carroll  he served his country in the United States Navy. He later joined the D.C. Fire Department and served 23 years with the Truck 5-Dent Place Georgetown,Ambulance 6, Engine 3, Engine19 and Engine 32, and the Fire Boat,John Glenn. In Louisiana he was a Christus Schumpert Hospital volunteer in the cancer ward. He was also a member of AA with 31 years of sobriety. He is survived by his wife, son,daughter and seven grandchildren.
