My parents were native Minnesotans and I returned here to attend college and law school. For 27 years I practiced law with a large firm in Minneapolis, specializing in corporate finance and venture financing. In 1999 I went "in-house", becoming general counsel and a director of a publicly held biotechnology company (Techne Corporation). In 2004 I retired and since then have devoted my time to volunteer activities, travel, and, most delightedly, to my nine grandchildren. My wife, Roberta Hunt whom I married in 1994, is a nurse educator, author of text books on nursing, former Fulbright professor, and has graciously agreed to retire this June. Hooray!! more time for grandkids and travel!
School Story

Many wonderful memories of friends at Carroll, and sincere regret that I have been so distant from them. Very much looking forward to see many of them at the reunion!

Jimmy was a very bright student and friendly guy.  I believe that we worked on the yearbook together.  I spoke with his sister Judy at a Buckley Club reunion some years ago and she told me that he was too ill to attend. Rest in peace.

Tony: So glad to see you are still kicking after all these years. I really hope you will come to the reunion - my only fear is that there will be so many people and so little time. I have many happy memories of being in classes and hanging around school with you. Tim

Pete, it was good to get together with you after discovering there was another alumnus in Minnesota. At lunch you were the same congenial, kind-hearted guy you were in high school. It is wonderful to meet old friends after 50 years and realize again what great people they were and still are.

What I remember is Fr. Rodriguez talking about the beautiful girls in Cuba - I have wondered whether he stayed with the Augustinian order!

Frank, it would be great to see you again and I hope that you decide to attend the reunion. It is hard to believe that it has been 50 years since we spent so much time together in the Hillcrest Heights neighborhood, commuting to school, being active in CYO, having you and your dad fix our TV! Take good care of yourself, encourage Mike Chokel and others to join us, and hopefully see you next fall. Tim
