On Sunday, July 14, 2013; the beloved husband of the late Mary Cassandra Honablew; father of Mary Rosetta Honablew; brother of Thomas and Robert Benedik, Barbara Wnukowski and the late Michael Benedik; grandfather of Iris Mae Holden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, DC, was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from the Department of Energy in 1997. He was a devout Catholic and served on the Board of Directors for the Body of Christ Farm.
