We are sad to hear of the passing of Allan "Andy" Anderson.  In addition to being a good friend to many of us, Andy was the chair of our 50th (and subsequent) reunion committee.  He spent many hours leading the planning for what turned out to be a marvelous event for so many.  Details on the services are still evolving, but here is what was provided by his family.  They are encouraging attendance at any of the evnts listed below.

Dear Dad's Classmates,

It is with great sorrow that we share with you the death of our beloved husband and father Andy Anderson.  He passed away on October 13, 2021, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital from heart disease. 

We hope to share this news with you in person but wanted to communicate the below details of the funeral as soon as we could.

All are welcome to attend the vigil service and wake on Wednesday October 20th, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00P.M. at DeVol Funeral Home, Gaithersburg, MD. Use of masks while inside is required.

All are welcome to attend the Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Thursday October 21st, at 11:00 AM in St. Rose of Lima Parish, Gaithersburg, Maryland.  Use of masks while inside the church is required and information about the COVID protocol is available at https://adw.org/coronavirus/.  

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, remembrances are made as contributions to Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, DC (In Memory of: Allan W. Anderson Jr., Class of 1964).

All are welcome to attend an outdoor reception in celebration of Andy’s life to be held after the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 21st at Andy and Margy’s backyard, Montgomery Village, MD.
